Do you know Rosalind Franklin? She is sometimes called the dark lady of DNA; she was a chemist and X-ray crystallographer that collected the crucial data that allowed Watson and Crick to create their model of the double helix. Unfortunately she did not get the credit she deserved for her contributions during her lifetime.
